SigmaPhone LLC Upgraded Android App, iPharmacy, To Read Drug Bar Codes and Provide Detailed Guide

As a free update, SigmaPhone LLC has added a bar code scanner to iPharmacy to identify drug based on its standard National Drug Code (NDC). Currently, there are over 50,000 codes in iPharmacy’s NDC library. iPharmacy reads the bar code from Android’s camera and immediately provide detailed drug guide if a match is found.

iPharmacy’s comprehensive medication library includes official prescribing information for 7000 drugs and medications. For each drug, medical professionals can conveniently access FDA approved prescribing information, such as dosage and administration, indications, warnings, contraindications, adverse reactions within a gentle touch. For consumers, not only can they look up medicines from their prescriptions using iPharmacy, they can also add personal notes to their favorite drugs and save them in the bookmark.
