“SEND A SMILE” TAKES ECARDS TO A NEW LEVEL OF PERSONALIZATION
Application allows user to personalize with custom greeting, photos & a voice message

Forgot to get that card in the mail? The famous Kersten Brothers are taking their greeting cards high tech with their new “Send a Smile” iPhone application. “Send a Smile” aims to take your standard, boring ecard and turn it on its ear with high tech customization. While the industry standard ecard contains stock photos and a bland message, “Send a Smile” is adding custom messages, photos and even a vocal greeting to take the user experience to a whole new level.
“I love it!” states Tracey Long of Temecula, Ca. “When I get behind in sending out cards, I can easily send a really cute greeting, snap a picture of myself and use my own voice to say ‘Happy Birthday’ or ‘Congratulations’
. It saves me a trip to the store and I would never be able to find something that unique anyway.” Matt Kersten, owner of Stonehouse Collection.com, agrees. “We are a customized greeting card company, but created the app for those that want to create a highly personalized greeting and send it in real time. We have cards for all the standard birthdays and holidays, but also really unusual ones. Do you surf or play golf? We have that. Want to send a greeting to a pilot or firefighter?
Search our site. You’ll be amazed at the unique selection.” At over 100 ecards and counting, the customer can easily find a greeting for nearly every occasion, including niche industries like aviation, sports, military, nautical and geographically regional themes.
The app is simple to use. Select an ecard from three main categories: Seasonal, Christmas & Traditional Greetings (Birthday, Get Well, Congratulations)
.The first 30 cards are free, and it’s only .99 to unlock the rest. Customers can either use a standardized message, or can create their own. Options include snapping a photo or using one on your phone, as well as adding a 5 second personalized vocal greeting. The recipient receives a unique email that is certain to please. Future upgrades include ecards compatible with text messages, as well as convenient holiday packs for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. So you can send grandma a Halloween ecard with pictures of the children in costume yelling “Trick or Treat!” or perhaps a soldier overseas would receive a picture of the Thanksgiving bird or Christmas tree with a vocal greeting of the family wishing them well. “It’s easy & it’s all here,” states Kersten. “You just can’t find this selection anywhere else.” Long, whose husband is serving overseas, concurs. “I sent him a military themed card with a picture of our daughter holding her first tooth that fell out. I also recorded her saying she loves her daddy. This app is the coolest thing ever.”
