The teak on the development lots will be ready for harvest in 7 to 8 years and the lots are to be fully serviced with road, water and electricity. At harvest the teak from the lots will be used in teak home construction on NatureWalk. These teak homes will provide a market for the teak on site and Tropical Teak Homes, a subsidiary of Private Residence Group, the developers of NatureWalk will handle the construction.
The launch offer lots were very competitively priced at 50% of the proposed pricing of the remainder of the lots and came with the added benefit of a 10% dividend payable for 3 years.
This dividend was funded by teak thinnings from elsewhere in the plantation.
