Kalamazoo Cadillac dealer Cole Cadillac has announced that Cadillac sales have increased this August from last August and for the seventh month in a row worldwide.
With 12,689 vehicles sold just in August, Cadillac has become the fastest-growing luxury brand. The number of vehicles sold in August 2010 has increased 83 percent from August 2009.
Cadillac’s U.S. sales were up over 50 percent in August as compared to the first eight months of 2009. Against all luxury brands in the U.S., Cadillac gained over two percentage points of share through July 2010 alone and is expected to increase more.
Sales of the SRX crossover sales are up 209 percent. The SRX has been gaining ground in the mid-size luxury crossover segment since its 2010 model year redesign.
Escalade sales also rose in August. Sales are up 15 percent from the August 2010.
“Cadillac has an impressive line-up that continues to attract returning and new luxury buyers to the brand,” said Kurt McNeil, vice president of Cadillac Sales and Service. “Whether someone is looking for a luxury sedan, coupe, crossover or SUV, Cadillac now has a product offering that’s commanding attention.”
Michigan Cadillac CTS
Most exciting for the Kalamazoo Cadillac dealership are the sales of the CTS and the new coupe model.
The CTS lineup has expanded just last month to include the all-new 2011 CTS Coupe in addition to the CTS Sport Sedan and CTS Sport Wagon.
The all-new car arrived during the CTS Coupe Premiere Week when dealerships around the US welcomed the car to their dealership. Kalamazoo Cadillac dealer, Cole Century Cadillac took place in this event, held during the week of August 16, and Michigan customers got to experience the all-new car firsthand.
Sales of the CTS are up 61 percent in August and are up 13 percent year to date from 2009.
