Alissa Torres to Speak at The Global Leaders Networking Event at the Yale Club 10/5 in New York

Sept. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- NEW YORK---The Global Leaders [TGL™] announced today that Alissa Torres, author of American Widow, will speak at a special networking event to be held at The Yale Club in New York City on Tuesday, October 5th from 7p to 9p.

- What leadership lessons do we learn from adversity?  
- How can we leverage our leadership skills to survive a personal crisis?

Alissa knows firsthand.  She is the widow of Luis Eduardo Torres, who died at age 31 on the 2nd day of his new job.  His employer was Cantor Fitzgerald….. his office was located in The World Trade center…..his record of employment no longer existed….he no longer existed.

Alissa will talk about drawing upon her leadership skills to navigate through this difficult time and the lessons she learned along the way.
