Philly Direct Marketing Association Names Goodman Marketing Partners’ Denise Williams “Coach”

Sept. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA) has named Denise Williams, East Coast manager of Goodman Marketing Partners, an official “Career Coach.” In this role, she will provide coaching and counseling services to PDMA members who have been displaced, are in career transition, or just need some sound career advice.

The PDMA offers Career Coach services free of charge to its members, in the disciplines of Strategy, P.R, Creative, Media, Online, and Production. Williams will provide coaching in the Strategy category. The program began on Sept. 1.

“After coaching many professionals throughout my career, I thought why not make it a PDMA program and provide coaching by discipline on a more formalized basis? It’s a great way to network, share knowledge, and give back to the industry,” says Williams, who also serves on the PDMA’s Board of Directors.

In addition to the Career Coach program, Williams heads up the PDMA’s membership program, the Right Start Internship Program, which offers direction to member organizations and liaison services to students to secure summer internship opportunities; and the Preferred Partnership Program, which funnels both referrals and discounts to PDMA members.
