Local Baltimore Indie Authors Novel The Tether a Dark Urban Fantasy Now Available in Print

Sept. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Local Melton Mowbray author Nick Davis, Ex UK Pat and now resident of Baltimore Maryland USA, has published his dark urban fantasy novel as an ebook for the Kindle, Nook and iPad. Now this emerging and very busy indie author has made The Tether available in traditional printed book format direct from his website and other social media sites such as Facebook.

The Tether is a dark urban fantasy novel by Nick Davis which is set against the back drop of Baltimore city and takes you on a helter-skelter one night journey into a reality that is disturbingly familiar, but has unnatural creatures stalking its shadows. The heroine of the story Sarah is a troubled student at a Baltimore private school. Who through a series of nightmarish events becomes the reluctant Keeper of a device called the Tether; that allows her to control an Angelic being called Paul and to cast will powered enchantments called Indices. As she races to uncover answers to the Tether's secrets, dark forces give chase to claim the device and Sarah for themselves...

This local indie author is eager to get his novel into the hands of his readers, and has promised that every copy sold through his website will be delivered signed by the author himself Nick Davis. He hopes by harnessing the power of social networks he can sell at least 500 copies of his work, and is now busy working on the second installment in this growing series.

The Tether is also in development for a series of one shot graphic novels with a leading indie comic studio Absolutely Not Comics that will explore the world of The Tether, the characters that inhabit it and the flipped reality waiting just on its edges.
