2010 Toyota Corolla
Fort Worth Toyota shoppers can now shop from an enhanced selection of the 2010 Toyota Corolla sedans, the best-selling nameplate in the automotive history.
A favorable mix of fuel economy, style, safety and performance, the compact Toyota Corolla also offers its accolade as an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick. The “Top Safety Pick” is the highest safety designation awarded by the IIHS. To even qualify for this award, the vehicle needs to earn the highest rating of “good” in the IIHS’ front, side, rollover and rear impact tests and be equipped with electronic stability control. The Corolla has won its second consecutive “Top Safety Pick” in 2010.
Vehicle Stability Control and traction control are standard on every 2010 Toyota Corolla. This antiskid system is designed to prevent sideways slides and aids grip away from stops. Other safety features include anti-lock brakes, tire-pressure monitors, active headrests and front, side and curtain airbags all standard.
The Corolla is known for its great fuel economy. All trims of the Corolla except for the XRS model have an updated version of Toyota’s venerable 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, renowned for its efficiency. Fuel economy for the Corolla is about 26mpg city/34mpg highway. The XRS model is estimated at 22mpg city/29mpg highway with a five-speed automatic transmission.
