Sept. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Author, hospice worker and afterflife awareness educator Terri Daniel will be speaking at New Renaissance Books in Portland on Saturday, October 9. Her presentation, "There is No Death: Mystical Pathways to Conscious Dying and Conscious Grieving" will include  interactive exercises, guided meditation and after-death communication  (ADC) techniques to help participants acquire unique new tools for understanding the dying and grieving process.

Terri works with the dying and the bereaved to advance a metaphysical perspective on death and the afterlife, and offers a path to alternative perceptions via meditation, visualization and channeling. Her unique form of radical mysticism tears down traditional notions of judgment, punishment and separation, and replaces them with a new way of understanding our experiences on earth, particularly death, trauma and  other "negative" events.

Her recent book, A Swan In Heaven is based on after-death dialogs between Terri and her son, who left the physical plane at age 16. Her new book, Embracing Death: A New Look at Grief, Gratitude and God, examines cultural and religious myths about the afterlife, and presents remarkable intuitive tools that can lead to new ways of understanding death and navigating the dying and grieving process.
