Midlands Consulting Centre Supports New Graduates

Sept. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- This year A* grade was introduced meaning fiercer competition for coveted university places. Even high flyers are struggling to find a place. One student gained two A*’s, an A and a C and despite these amazing results, was still rejected from four universities. New graduates are also struggling with finding positions in the work force. After three years hard studying and intensive exams, graduate students are left feeling all the hard work was for nothing.

It is estimated that 150,000 students will miss out on places at university due to the intense competition this year. Statistics out of education aren’t looking good either. The percentage of jobs has fallen by 7% this year (The Guardian 2010) because of this fall and the rise of graduates many of these people are finding themselves months out of work and struggling to use their degree.
