Daniel Terrelonge was born in Kingston, Jamaica. His love for free-styling with his friends started as many others do – on the corner of his block. He music influences started in the home. Whatever everyone else listen to, he did to. The music played in his home ranged from Smoky Robinson, Sam Cooke, Bob Marley and The Temptations. In his mid teens, he began to write and easily transitioned into singing after that. To Kenyatta Fire, music is as natural as breathing. When he adds his voice to a song, it is sure to be a hit. His vocals are smooth, powerful and sultry. Singing on the mic at local clubs cemented his musical mission in life. It wasn’t long after that he recorded his first track, in 2005 called, “The Multitude.” Kenyatta acquired his bachelor’s degree in Civil Structural Engineering but this wasn’t the end for him. He was determined to make an impact with his talent sharing it with the world.
Kenyatta Fire’s new single, “Keep Off My Enemies” is a song about getting rid of all negative influences in life. You need to be vigilant and aware of your surroundings and try to avoid negative things. This reggae song has a fabulous rhythm and that signature sound that sends you into a state of calm. His vocals are crisp, his style is defined through his Jamaican background, creating a rare sound of pure beauty.
Everything that Kenyatta Fire gives you is genuine. His music is full of melodies, harmonies, ballads with such smooth hooks, metaphors and similes. What a fusion of sound. He is an incredible artist with incredible talent.
Currently Kenyatta Fire is scheduling shows on the East Coast, Miami, Atlanta and so on.
“I appreciate all aspects of life – the good and the bad. These lyrics are representations of everyday emotions and are collated then put before you in my songs. I will never stop writing and singing for a greater cause and to get people moving on their feet, hearts and soul. I have been doing this for many years now and I am falling in love with music all over again, every day.”
