Dallas Chevy dealers Classic Chevrolet are looking forward to the 2011 Chevy vehicles to arrive at the dealership. The 2011 model year marks big changes for Chevy with the arrival of the all-new Cruze and Volt as well as updated models of America’s favorite cars.
Chevrolet Cruze at Dallas Chevy Dealer
Dallas Chevy dealers are anticipating the arrival at the 2011 Chevy Cruze at the Dallas-Fort Worth dealership. Much hype is gearing up behind the release of this vehicle in the U.S., and there’s good reason why.
The Cruze was released in Europe in spring of 2009 and had a great consumer response. Since the vehicle’s release, over 330,000 models have been sold. This calendar year, over 165,000 models of the Cruze have been sold. This makes the Cruze the top selling Chevy car in the world, and the second most Chevrolet sold in the world, behind only the Silverado. These sales are before the vehicle is even released in the U.S.
The Cruze is Chevrolet’s sedan addition to their lineup, replacing the Cobalt as their compact car. The small sedan features a great list of standard features, safety features and fuel economy. The Cruze will help drivers save money at the pump with an EPA-estimated 35 to 40 highway mpg. Not only is the Cruze safer than the previous compact car was, but the Cruze has class-leading standard safety features, including a leading ten airbags.
Chevy Volt at Dallas Chevrolet Dealer
The 2011 Volt is also receiving much hype due to its electric motor. The midsize five-door hatchback sedan runs on an electric motor which is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack until the battery charge is 70 percent depleted. The Volt’s 1.4-liter four-cylinder internal combustion engine kicks on to replace the power source. The engine runs on either gasoline or E85.
The Volt was created for optimal fuel efficiency. While the car is in potions, drivers can see how fuel efficiently they are driving. A “ball” informs them if they are conserving fuel or battery energy or not- it is green and big while conserving energy and smaller and orange while not saving.
Classic Chevy, the Dallas-Fort Worth Chevy dealership, will begin selling the Cruze as soon as becomes available this month. The Volt is anticipated to arrive later this year.
