By: Alex G Public Releations Caledonia, NY-- Acclaimed singer songwriter Dan Coyle will play at the Totsie Cook Charity Benefit September 18 in aid of the scholarship named for his late father, Dan Coyle, Sr. The benefit starts at 8 p.m. at Jones Hall, 366 Leicester Road in Caledonia. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.cliffyates.com. Coyle lost his father in a farming accident last year. "I want to honor him and his commitment to the community by playing at the event. I hope everyone will come out and join us," the singer said. The event will also feature Caledonia native and comedian Cliff Yates. Dan Coyle has released five albums to date, including "Random Thoughts and Incomplete Sentences" and "Briar Street: The Acoustic Sessions." His latest album is scheduled for release later this year. He has toured nationally, playing everything from small venues to concert halls to massive festivals. He will also play at the Hearthside Cats Charity Benefit on September 19. Hearthside Cats is a non-profit no-kill rescue group dedicated to finding permanent indoor homes for cats in need. The event is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Al Lorenz Park Pavilion #4 (Livingston County Park) in Mount Morris, NY. A $10 donation is suggested. At the end of September Coyle will be playing several dates on the West Coast as well as in the Midwest.
