Boca Raton, Fla., - September 3, 2010 – Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced through their Colorful Ways to Play Program that September is officially Green Month at Bluegreen Resorts, in vacation destinations across the country. The Colorful Ways to Play program highlights monthly special events and activities for guests at Bluegreen resorts. The program coincides with conservational efforts and green initiatives put forth by Bluegreen Corporation, many of which have resulted in local and national recognition.
Each Bluegreen Resort participates in hosting eco-activities that combine fun and education centered around various green initiatives including Bluegreen’s “Bluegreen Clean and Bluegreen Green” Programs. September was chosen as ‘Green Month’ due to a series of events and activities that are planned both nationally and internationally. These eco-centric events include Clean Up the World Weekend, International Coastal Cleanup Day, International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, International Day of Peace and World Car-Free Day.
