Mike Soul new single 'Look Into The Mirror'

Sept. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- London born Mike Soul is no stranger to the pop world having featured on records and live shows from Leona Lewis to Lemar, Shayne Ward to Westlife and many more… This time it’s Mike’s turn to bring a collaboration onto his own record and ‘Look Into The Mirror’ see’s his soulful vocals set against the lyrical cut of Migraine Skank phenomenon Gracious K.

Look Into The Mirror is an up front summer love song perfect for the heatwave we’ve been blessed wth this year and the release also features remixes from Ripper, Jack’s Back and a Drum and Bass rework from New Found Soul. The track is also supported with a music video directed by Martin Scanlan and produced by George Burt (N-Dubz / Ny) bringing life to the lyrical flow of Mike and Gracious.

Mike’s musical roots trace back to the tender age of eight where he was a member of a church gospel choir and also a pianist going on to support popular acts such as the Clarke Sisters, Dawkins & Dawkins and Ron Kenoly. From these humble beginnings he has gone on to tour extensively around the UK and Europe from Switzerland’s annual Hip Hop festival to The Hackney Empire and London’s legendary Jazz Café where he claimed the premier spot of winner of Xpressions. Mike’s music has also been played out on the airwaves as far as Australia and New York City.

Not only a singer and accomplished musician, Mike is also a successful songwriter and has written for an array of UK artists including Dionne from Big Brovaz and Plan B’s track ‘I Need Love’ which featured in the film Adulthood. Priding himself on acoustic value, melody and bouncy beats there’s a catalogue of material already laid down in the studio for his forthcoming album which is already attracting the attention of some big labels.

The video has had over 54,000 hits on youtube and been added to Flava TV and AKA, along with the Ripper Remix getting played in clubs across the country.  Radio plays include: All FM, De Ja Vu FM, Fire FM, krissmusic4u, Phatbeats.net, Forest FM and www.fm1079.com.

The follow up single Touch the Sky is in production with the video already being shot its ready for release in late 2010.
