Majorca initiative to promote local products

Sept. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- A Balearic's local products initiative is  launched in Majorca ,  in an attempt to give a boost to  local   producers, and  specially the agricultural sector.

The Spanish department store "El Corte Ingles" organized a special presentations of these local products.

These  local products of Majorca,Ibiza and Menorca , includes a wide range of vegetables, fruits, meats and fresh fish out of the area .
The benefits of these products are that they are fresh and will support the local industry

The Balearic government  announced that they like to include more products to their Local product range of almost 500 .

The first steps of this initiative seems to be a immense success and most of these  products can be found in the local supermarkets.
