POET Laureate Carol Ann Duffy is among the wordsmiths set to light up this autumn's literature programme at the Dylan Thomas Centre.
The Scottish poet will join award-winning writers Don Paterson and Gillian Clarke as some of the big names to have been confirmed for the line-up at the attraction in the Maritime Quarter.
The programme for the autumn mixes poetry, prose and performance. A creative writing workshop with Don Paterson has also been arranged and people will have the chance to try out their Shakespearean acting skills thanks to expert-led sessions with the Fluellen Theatre Company.
Jo Furber, Dylan Thomas Centre Literature Officer, said: "I'm very excited by our new autumn programme because some of the biggest names in contemporary writing are coming to Swansea.
"This is a great opportunity for everyone to come along and enjoy their work."
