Are You One Of The Best In North America?

NATJA Accepting Award Entries from all Travel Journalists, CVBs, DMOs, and Travel Professionals

Sept. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- PASADENA, CA –The North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) supports professional travel journalism and honors the excellence of travel promotion throughout the world with its annual awards competition, now in its 19th year. The NATJA awards competition honors the “best of the best” from travel media (writers, photographers, video journalists) and travel promotion submitted by travel journalists, travel magazines, public relations agencies and destination marketing organizations (DMOs/CVBs) from the United States, Canada and Mexico. “With almost 50 categories, there are plenty of opportunities to compete by highlighting your best work,” explains Helen Hernandez, CEO of the organization. “But, with hundreds of entries last year alone, competition is pretty fierce and winning is a distinct honor.”
One First Place winner is chosen in each of the categories. Runners up receive “Awards of Merit” recognition. Then, five overall grand prize winners are selected in recognition of “outstanding excellence.” Entries are judged by a panel of industry professionals and announced on or about January 15, 2011.
