One First Place winner is chosen in each of the categories. Runners up receive “Awards of Merit” recognition. Then, five overall grand prize winners are selected in recognition of “outstanding excellence.” WHO: The Awards program is open to all travel journalists, CVBs and DMOs, agencies, editors and publishers. Entrants need not be NATJA members to submit or to win. WHAT: The 2010 NATJA Awards Competition, now in its 19th year, honors the "best of the best” in print and electronic travel journalism: articles, photographs, general circulation and specialty publications, blogs and websites, CVB/DMO and destination publications. WHEN: 2010 NATJA Awards submissions are accepted September 1 - October 31, 2010. All entries must have been published or broadcast between October 1, 2009 and September 30, 2010. HOW: Complete rules, details of the awards’ qualifications, fees for entry and the official entry form are available online at www.natja.org.
