Remotely monitor switch status, control switch functions with Model 7357 CAT5e A/B/Offline Switch

Sept. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, announces the PathWay® Model 7357 Cat5e, RJ45  A/B/OFFLINE Switch with 10/100 Base-T LAN TELNET Access. This reliable switch allows the user the capability of sharing a single port interface device connected to the COMMON port among two other devices connected to the A and B ports.  

Remote monitoring and switch management can be accomplished using an Ethernet 10/100 Base-T connection and TELNET commands.  Front-panel pushbutton control can be locked out remotely.

The Model 7357 switches all 8 pins of the RJ45 interface and is transparent to data speed and format. This switch saves wear and tear on cables and connectors by eliminating the need to plug and unplug cables. The Model 7357 is rated for 10/100/1000 Base-T networks (up to Cat5e).

Front panel LED's display switch position and power status. The secure off-line switch position stops any and all data throughput for the unit.  The Model 7357 retains last switch position in the event of a power loss and continues to pass data. Attractive anodized aluminum black box packaging provides EMI/RFI shielding.
