A New Twist to the Scarecrow Contest at Peddler's Village

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 31, 2010 - LAHASKA, PA  - Bucks Happening is proud to announce an online scarecrow photo contest in conjunction with the 32nd Annual Scarecrow Competition and Display. This addition to the main competition is devoted to celebrating the locals of Bucks County and surrounding areas.  The contest will run from September 6th-30th, 2010. In addition to the $5000 in prizes that Peddler's Village is giving away in conjunction with the main competition, the scarecrow with the most votes on the Bucks Happening website will be awarded one free overnight stay at the Golden Plough Inn in Peddler's Village (an estimated retail value of $325).

In order to be eligible for the online contest, scarecrows must be entered into the main competition, which happens live at Peddler's Village.  The deadline to enter the main competition is September 3, 2010.  In order to enter BucksHappening.com contest, entrants must submit a photo of their scarecrow, along with contact information, to contest@buckshappening.com. All entries must follow official rules and regulations, which are posted at www.BucksHappening.com. Bucks Happening will feature coverage of the Scarecrow festivities throughout the month.
