Majenta Solutions acquires Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions reseller, ALTA Systems

Aug. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Brentwood, Essex. 31 August, 2010. - Majenta Solutions Ltd, one of Europe’s leading providers of product development, manufacturing and product lifecycle information management software and IT infrastructure solutions, announced today that it has acquired the business of ALTA Systems Ltd.
Based in the West Midlands, ALTA Systems Ltd is best known as a value-added reseller in the UK for Autodesk’s Manufacturing Solutions division. The company has built an enviable reputation over the past 23 years for servicing the design and product lifecycle management (PLM) requirements of UK manufacturing companies.
Commenting on the merger, Chris Dukes, managing director, ALTA Systems, said, “This is great news both for our customers and for our staff. Our core MCAD expertise together with Majenta’s industrial design solutions experience and their IT infrastructure and PLM services is a powerful and compelling story for customers.  With the increased product and service offerings and greater geographical coverage that the merger brings, the future looks very exciting.”

We intend to invest immediately in West Midlands office space and training facilities to allow for the expansion that this merger will bring.”

ALTA Systems will trade as a division of Majenta Solutions with immediate effect. There will be no staff or contact changes, ensuring continuity of service to ALTA’s existing customers.
