Worldwide International Import Training Now Available Through International Trade Center, Dallas

The International Trade Center adds more classes to their award winning Global Market Series-Import Training. Seminars led by industry experts in a Webinar format now allows for global participation right from your desk.

Aug. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- The International Trade Center's, award winning Global Market Series now available by webinar/seminar has added more sessions and fourth day of training.  The Import Certification, presented by industry experts and certified by the Institute for Supply Management, Dallas, can be attended online or in person. Now attendees can participate from anywhere in the world! This seminar series covers the main steps in the import process with a strong emphasis on compliance.  Seminar topics include: the requirements to import from Customs and Border Protection (CBP); how to establish a decision making process to compare outsourcing options; how to determine landed costs; the key components of the entry procedure; how the use of an FTZ might work for your company or product; the role of a customs broker and freight forwarder; the most common international payment mechanisms; the legal agreements and forms used in an import purchase transaction; updates on C-TPAT, 10+2 as well as other current compliance issues. New topics include: outsourcing for new importers; government agencies beyond CBP involved in the import process; new mandatory document filings and a case study addressing the biggest mistakes new importers make and how to avoid them.

Export Certification and Training will be held in the same format in October.  Both training sessions are available at last year's prices offering a $100 savings, if reserved before the early bird deadline. See website for details.
