ArtVerona, The Contemporary Art Exhibition

ArtVerona was born in 2005, and since its very first edition it provoked a great interest in the artistic world, among both the exhibitors and the visitors; it was born to be a high-level  exhibition, and it carries on keeping its standards inviting the best art galleries in Italy and weighing accurately the requests of participation received.
What witnesses the great success of the artistic exhibition at the Fair of Verona there are numbers: in 2009 the visitors have been 20.000, and the inquiries show a high popularity rating both among the artists and the public. The exhibition at the Fair of Verona 2010 promises great numbers and a great affluence, as always: to grant a high quality in the works exposed the number of exhibitors is limited to 170, to be able to select at the best the artists thus keeping the fame gained since the very first edition.
ArtVerona will be a full-immersion in art, from Thursday 14th October from 4 pm to 8 pm, to Monday 18th, from 10.30 am to 3 pm; from Friday to Sunday the exhibition will be open from 10.30 am to 7 pm; the tickets cost € 16, while the pass to enter everyday costs € 28, and you’ll pay the reduced ticket € 5. The best way to enjoy the ArtVerona is staying in a hotel, to be able to immerge completely in the exhibition atmosphere.
The success of ArtVerona is due to the careful choice of the exhibitors, and it is also helped by the Italian artistic history, which is at the centre of the international artistic scene; this exhibition was born from an idea of Danilo Vignati, expert in artistic events, and Massimo Simonetti, an experienced art dealer: the union of the two professionals gave birth to an inevitable success, that actually interested the Italian and international artistic world.
Hence, ArtVerona is a meeting you can’t miss to be updated on the contemporary artistic panorama, during which some prizes will be assigned: one for painting, sculpture, installation and video, the other for photography; they are to be assigned to young artists with an age limit of 40, and they consist in the acquisition of the works by Banca Aletti, promoter of the initiative. Moreover, in every ArtVerona edition  an artwork is chosen to be sent to the Mart museum in Rovereto. Other than this, there are other initiative at the ArtVerona to give the right space to the most worthy artworks and to various kinds of works, like Theatreartverona, On stage – Argonauts, Independents and others.
