Rolling Meadows, IL — BEST Inc. announces the development of a new class on leadless device rework.  QFNs, LGAs and other bottom-terminated components are finding their way onto PCBs and are shrinking thereby making these devices one of the most difficult to rework. BEST Inc., based on its leading edge leadless device services business has now developed a class for rework technicians on how to rework these leadless devices.

This 2 day class will guide technicians through a variety of practices in place for the rework of leadless devices. During the class students will learn how to thermally profile a bar, learn how to bump the PCB as a rework technique, bump the device as well as paste printing onto the PCB. A variety of stencil approaches will be used to rework the boards.

Students will have 70% hands on time and 30% theory on this course. Upon completion the students will obtain a BEST completion certificate valid for 2 years.

Classes will be held through out the year near Chicago, IL or at the customer location.
