'All About Color' Art Exhibit And Sale To Benefit NJ Foundation For The Blind

Art exhibition and sale by The American Society of Contemporary Artists and NJFFB vision-impaired artists commemorate Blindness Awareness Month in New Jersey.
 
Aug. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- To commemorate October as Blindness Awareness Month in New Jersey, NJ Foundation for the Blind (NJFFB) presents an exhibit of the works of The American Society of Contemporary Artists, a non profit society of internationally and nationally known artists whose works are represented in major museums and corporations.  The exhibit also features the works of ten artists with vision impairment who are students or graduates of the NJ Foundation for the Blind program.  The students were juried for the show by a panel of art experts. Exhibit runs from September 14 to October 27, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 AM – 3 PM or by appointment at Helen Gromann Hall, NJ Foundation for the Blind, 230 Diamond Spring Road, Denville.  A benefit reception will be held on Sunday, October 17, from 1 to 4 PM. Suggested donation $60 per person; $100 per couple.  Wine bar, hors d’oeuvres, music and door prizes. Several pieces will be verbally described. NJFFB (973-627-0055) is a not for profit organization teaching adults with vision loss to live independently and productively. It is the only comprehensive non residential vision rehabilitation program for adults in NJ. Wellness programs for adults with vision impairment are also offered.
