distinguished appellate practice. A large number of the firm’s cases come from outside referrals. Slank has practiced in the state and federal appellate courts since 1980. Her emphasis is on the defense of medical and legal malpractice actions, insurance coverage disputes, and the defense of catastrophic personal injury cases. Slank graduated magna cum laude from Wayne State University law school and is a member of State Bar of Michigan; U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan; U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth and Seventh Circuits; as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Slank is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only trial and appellate lawyer honorary society.
