Cincinnati, OH – The Chicago Campus of DeVry University will be the site of a free Opportunity Expo for military veterans and military spouses on Thursday, September 30. The producer of the event, Cincinnati-based RecruitMilitary, LLC, is inviting men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, veterans who already have civilian work experience, members of the National Guard and reserves, and their spouses. The job seekers will interview with corporate employers, law-enforcement agencies and other government employers, franchisors, and educational institutions. The campus is located at 3300 North Campbell Avenue on the city’s northwest side, west of Western Avenue and south of Addison Street. The Expo will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
RecruitMilitary expects more than 35 organizations to attend. Already scheduled are A&R Security Services, Abraham Low Self-Help Security Systems, American Academy of Pediatrics, Amtrak, Argosy University, the Army National Guard, Capella University, CDW, CSX Transportation, DeVry University, Everest College/Chicago, Grand Canyon University, the Illinois Army National Guard, Lincoln College of Technology, McMaster-Carr Supply Company, Nalco Energy Services—Downstream, the National Veterans Employment Program (NVEP) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, New York Life, Northwood University, TCF Financial Corporation, The Art Institutes, T-Mobile, United States Army Recruiting Battalion, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office (ICE) of the Department of Homeland Security, Verizon Wireless, Wackenhut Corporation, Waste Management, and Woodward MPC.
