Follow on Google News | WCI Chinese Drywall - Bankruptcy Fraud - Truth Exposed - Court Documents Tell Who Knew What WhenBased on recently unsealed Florida Court Documents, WCI knew their Developments were built with tainted, corrosive, Chinese drywall. Questions concerning, the timing of WCI's Bankruptcy filing, are now in question ? Consumers want answers ?
By: Michael S. Foreman Michael S. Foreman, President, Foreman and Associates, Inc. has been watching and waiting, along with numerous clients of WCI Development, to make good on promises made to their homeowners, concerning tainted, corrosive, Chinese drywall installed in their developments, documented by Foreman, in Florida homes, as early as 2000 and potentially as late as 2008. Court Documents recently unsealed by a Florida Judge, confirm and validate, as early as 2006, Banner and Knauf acknowledged the CDW problem existed and the magnitude, seriously calling into question the legalities and motives concerning the Bankruptcy Filing by WCI (2008), and their convenient failure to notify clients, purchasers, and homeowners, before filing for Bankruptcy, their WCI built homes or condominiums either had tainted corrosive Chinese drywall installed or at the least, potentially could, based on WCI purchase orders, suppliers, and installers, directly or indirectly associated with Banner Supply. WCI Developments all over Florida and other states, plagued with this issue, answered homeowner complaints with numerous excuses, promises, and denials that the CDW or TCDW issue even existed. WCI Homeowners finally stopped listening to WCI Development employees and management, only to find the Company, as the old saying goes ..."in the middle of the night" ... had filed for Bankruptcy Protection and then told clients, WCI would not take care of the problem, until later. I'm sad to say ... later repairs or reconstruction have not occurred. Foreman's clients and numerous other homeowners, living with and breathing the smell of rotten eggs or burnt sulfur smells, started experiencing HVAC coil failures, appliance failures, cable box failures, and numerous other electrical problems, shortly after moving into WCI Development structures, problems they never experienced before, with other structures they had purchased over the years. The average WCI customer or new home purchaser, was either a retiree, investor, or seasonal vacationer, that questioned WCI employees and management about the odor issues, only to be told, the NEW house smell will go away, just be patient, all new houses have smells. By the end of 2008, the proverbial cat was out of the bag, Foreman was talking with news media, journalist, TV reporters, and others about his findings, research, and potentially ... latter to be confirmed ... magnitude of the CDW or TCDW problem, not only in Florida but at least forty one (41) other states. Time for the journalist, news media, TV reporters, lawyers, Governments Officials, and others to do the research, check the facts, answer the questions, and expose the truth, Foreman has discussed, talked about, questioned and posed for over two (2) years, with little coverage or attention, the WCI Consumers need. Foreman is a Consumer Advocate and Forensic Construction Consultant, not a journalist, lawyer, or reporter and knows now is the time for the truth and facts, to be handled by them, allowing him to concentrate on what he does best ...
