As such, the website is geared around a comprehensive calendar of events, organized by day and time, for all events going on in and around Monmouth County. Find things to do today or plan ahead by seeing what is going on in the future. You will be sure to find events and activities at the various municipalities, parks, libraries, stores, activity centers, and more throughout Monmouth County.
Although the calendar is the primary focus of the site, some other features include fundraisers, kids eat free, pick your own farms, kid-friendly websites, camps, on-going offers and more! In addition, Calendar for Kids emails newsletters every other week to all the users that register with them. These newsletters are filled with an array of great things for both parents and kids. Some of the articles are based around things to do within Monmouth County, similar to the theme of the website itself, but other articles feature recipes, arts and crafts, kid-friendly jokes, tips on a variety of topics, holiday themed activities and much more. However, you must register with the site in order to receive these newsletters.
This website was established in May 2009 a solely featured Monmouth County. Since then the site has added Ocean County. And just recently the site launched Middlesex and Atlantic County as well.
The site prides itself on being the most comprehensive list of all features it entails. There are other sites out there that touch on some of the same topics that Calendar for Kids contains, but none is as all-encompassing as Calendar for Kids!
