Wool For a Better World - Save on Wools of New Zealand Carpet From 20 Carpet Mills

Aug. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Hemphill's Rugs & Carpets and Wools of New Zealand is sponsoring a month-long promotion, Wool for a Better World, Nov. 1 to 30, 2010.  As a Premier Partner with the Wools of New Zealand, Hemphill's will be offering their customers a minimum of 10% off on a wide range of New Zealand products.

Some of the participating mills offered by Hemphill's Rugs & Carpets include Couristan, Concepts International, Fabrica, Godfrey Hirst, Hagaman, J. Mish, Karastan Broadloom, Karastan Rugs, Nourison Broadloom, Nourison Rugs, Prestige Mills, Radici, Stanton, Unique Carpets and Woolshire.

Wool for a Better World was not only designed to benefit consumers but to benefit Premier Partner retailers, wool carpet manufacturers and the Shear Joy organization, according to Elise Demboski, executive director of North America for Wools of New Zealand.

“Wool for a Better World goes far beyond a sale event,” said Demboski. “It is a way for us to spread the news about wool's beauty, health and safety benefits while differentiating our showrooms that are committed to wool.”

“This is an unprecedented commitment from Wools of New Zealand and their Mill Partners ,” said  Brett Hemphill, President of Hemphill's Rugs & Carpets in Costa Mesa, CA. “More than 20 mills are participating in this event and most never offer any type of discount."

“In addition to promoting wool’s benefits, we are also taking this opportunity to help others by making a donation to Shear Joy,” added Demboski.  

Shear Joy is a Heifer International program that provides sheep to needy families in third world countries. Since 1944, Heifer International has provided livestock, seeds and trees and extensive training to improve the lives of the poor. Today, it operates in more than 50 countries.
