Arabic Studies International Launches Free Membership Web Site

Aug. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Arabic Studies International (ASI) has launched a new web site to foster collaboration in the fields of Arabic studies and provide a network for those in the field.  

ASI is a membership based/membership driven organization developed to promote collaboration, networking and communication across the varied fields of Arabic Studies.    Based in the United States, the organization is open to members worldwide.  Individual Membership benefits include networking among Arabic Studies professionals and students; access to various discussion forums including those focused on culture, linguistics, literature, research, and pedagogy; job postings, a customizable member profile, opportunities to post information about your publications, add blog articles, receive a monthly E-Newsletter, and reduced registration rates for future conferences.

Vendor Membership benefits include all individual benefits, as well as a public listing/directory of company products and services, free unlimited job listings, and promote company news releases.

The new web site address is http://www.arabicstudiesonline.org (as well as http://www.arabicstudiesonline.com).  To celebrate the launch of this site, any interested party can join ASI with a free trial membership of six months, with no future obligation.  The web site will also provide other Arab based organizations a forum to promote their news and conferences.
