New Web Developer Joins Imagemakers Team

Aug. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- While Arthi Subramanian, a graduate student in Software Engineering at Kansas State University, was browsing the internet she ran across the updated website for the Manhattan Regional Airport.  

   “I was really impressed by the design of the website and wanted to know what company had done the work,” Arthi said.  “When I found out it was Imagemakers, I checked out their company website and was even more impressed with their work.”

   Arthi was equally pleased to learn that Imagemakers was looking for web developers.  She quickly sent her resume and samples of her work and was pleased to hear back from Dan Holmgren, Creative Director of Imagemakers.

   Holmgren was equally happy to hear from Arthi.

   “Her skills lined up well with what we were looking for and she struck me as a good fit for our company during the interview,” Holmgren said.

   Imagemakers, an award winning design firm located in Wamego, maintains a team atmosphere where the customers’ needs are identified and met with high quality work and an emphasis on personal attention.  

   “Others applied for the position and they also knew their stuff, but they weren’t likely to be as good of a fit for us as Arthi is,” Holmgren said.

   Arthi started work at Imagemakers in July and said that she is also impressed by how helpful everyone is.

   “There is a genuine interest in recognizing individual talent and potential here.  The working environment is great and it motivates me to excel in my chosen field,” she said.

   Arthi will graduate from KSU in December with a Master Degree in Software Engineering.  She is working part time now, but Holmgren said he hopes she will stay and become full time after graduation.
