UNIQLO 2011 UT GRAND PRIX Mickey and Minnie Mouse T-shirt Design Contest is Launched

Aug. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- This year’s theme is based on Disney’s iconic Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters. A judging panel featuring representatives from both UNIQLO and Disney will choose the 20 top entries. The winning designs will then be sold at UNIQLO stores around the world as one of the well known UT T-Shirts (http://www.uniqlo.co.uk/catalogue/men/ut-t-shirts).

UNIQLO UK’s (http://www.uniqlo.co.uk) UT GRAND PRIX contest first launched in 2005 with the goal of inspiring and supporting artists all over the world. The design competition is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality. The 2011 competition marks the 7th annual UT Grand Prix and will be thematically based on Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse images; two of the world’s most widely recognised characters.

Entrants who wish to submit original designs for the UT printed t-shirts (http://www.uniqlo.co.uk/catalogue/women/ut-t-shirts) are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:

Entry Period
Tuesday August 10, 2010 through until Sunday September 19, 2010.

Entry Requirements
Entries are welcome from anyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality.

Entry Submission

Judges
Judges will include members from both UNIQLO and Disney.

Grand Prize
The Grand Prize winner will have their design printed on UT T-Shirts and sold at UNIQLO around the world. In addition, they will receive US$10,000 in prize money, a trip for two to Disneyland Resort in California and other exciting prizes.

Runners Up Prizes
Runners up will have their design printed on a UT T-Shirt and sold at UNIQLO around the world. In addition, they will receive a trip for two to Disneyland Resort in California, as well as other exciting prizes.
