The 2010 Sonata GLS offers several advantages when comparing it to the 2010 Toyota Camry LE 6 speed AT.  The first thing one may look at is the price.  The Sonata GLS is a hefty two thousand dollars less then the 2010 Toyota Camry both at MSRP and comparably equipped models.   Consider then that the Sonata GLS comes with more standard features and considerable more options.

Hyundai has always taken pride in equipping its cars with the latest safety technology.  The Sonata GLS safety features include ESC, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), six airbags, ABS, a occupant classification system and active front head restraints.  The Toyota Camry just recently added ESC to its 2010 Camry, ESC being considered the most effective lifesaving technology since the seatbelt by the NHTSA.   The 2010 Camry safety features include ESC, traction control system, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist and front side airbags.  While the 2010 Camry has just recently improved its safety features it still lacks an occupant classification system and active front head restraints offered by the 2010 Sonata GLS.  
   
Hyundai has long been known for offering the best warranties and 2010 is no different.  The Sonata GLS’s warranty is in a league of its own when comparing in to any warranty out there.  For the sake of comparison we’ll see how the 2010 Toyota Camry’s warranty stakes up.    The Sonata offers five year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper protection whereas the Camry offers three year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.  Sonata’s offers an impressive 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty compared to Toyota’s 5year 60,000 warranty.  Hyundai offers two more years in its seven year corrosion perforation warranty Toyota having a 5 year corrosion perforation warranty.
   
In conclusion, the 2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS seems to be a step ahead of the 2010 Toyota Camry LE 6speed AT.  Not only does the Hyundai Sonata GLS offer more standard and available options, higher safety standards, and a unmatched warranty, it comes 2000 dollars cheaper giving you a much greater value for your dollar.
