He served as past President of the American Medical Association and was also a member of the Advisory Committee to the Director of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Corlin has devoted much of his energy and efforts to healthcare reform, and is a practicing specialist who is invited to speak worldwide about critical healthcare issues. Dr. D. Walter Cohen has spearheaded groundbreaking advancements in the field of periodontics and the treatment of diabetes. As a prominent member of the scientific community, he has published 22 books and more than 130 articles. He is currently Dean-Emeritus of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and Chancellor-Emeritus of the Drexel University College of Medicine. Joyce Malaskovitz PhD., R.N., C.D.E., serves as Director of the Health & Wellness Services and Diabetes Treatment Center at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was also the Executive Director of Lifestyle Decisions, a diabetes and cardiac management program, and she has been awarded the American Diabetes Association “Making A Difference” Award. Dr. Andrea Pennington is a respected Integrative Medicine physician, author and leading authority on wellness and prevention. Through books and other media she has authored, her high profile advocacy empowers people to help make their lives Diabetes Proof.
