2010 Finnish Cross-Country Championships to use Tracker Security SportLocator

Aug. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Tracker Security is pleased to announce that the 2010 Finnish Cross-Country Championships will use SportLocator to track the top 30 competitors during the race.  

SportLocator provides real time, mapped results of where competitors are on the course for event organizers and spectators. Additionally, participants will be able to review their progress after the event.

The solution was recently used to display participants’ location at the Helsinki City Marathon for national television.  "SportLocator is in high demand as event organizers see the benefit for spectators, sponsors and national television audiences to get up close and personal with their favorite racers during the race," said Einari Kanerva, Executive Vice President with Tracker Security.
