Train Relentlessly
Are you really training a lot, or just going quickly through the workout because you're breaking a sweat. Are you using your gym time to get muscle mass or to socialize? Are you actually working, or just playing? You probably need to put more hard work into your workout by following these tips.
* Every set should be done as though it were your last.
* Every repetition should be done as though it were your last in the set.
Time the period that you rest for and stay honest.
Put a sweater on if you think you're going to keep checking yourself out in the mirror.
Use a headset so that you're not disturbed.
You will lose concentration if you tag along with friends.
Work out with lots of vigor and intensity.
You Must Challenge Your Muscles
You cant always stick with the same weight load and rep rate all the time. you're going to have to test the strength of your muscles constantly if you want to get muscle mass.
Try to lift the maximum weight you find possible by doing the following: Pick a compound exercise for each major group of muscles and aim for a 5% weight increase per week, which will allow your muscles to grow much quicker.
Try to do more repetitions in a smaller amount of time so that your muscles gain resistance because the more tense your muscles become, the more growth you'll experience. Its more effective to lift heavy weights vigorously for a shorter time, than lifting light weights for a long time period.
Keep with your Program
Avoid being the people that waste more time on finding the right program than they do exercising because in reality, it isn't the programs that don't work, its the persons effort that is insufficient. Take one suitable program and only use that because no program is ever perfect. Some are bad, and those are definitely easy to spot from the lot. When you find a good program, just work out and don't worry about better programs and start training. Its more important to be consistent than to keep innovating.
