Moodlerooms Releases joule version 1.3

Aug. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Baltimore, MD — Moodlerooms, Inc., the provider of joule®, a cloud-hosted, managed open-source e Learning platform, is pleased to announce joule 1.3, the latest release of the enterprise learning management platform that delivers updated features and integration capabilities to further expand the choices educators have to configure their learning programs.

Some of the changes in joule 1.3 include:
•   joule Mobile- Application enables users to access specific joule featuers via smart phone, such as email, RSS feeds, course overview information, upcoming events, notifications, and grades.
•   Locations Block- Gives administrators the capability to specify buildings that are located on their campus, support multiple campuses in a university system and specify the latitude/longitude of locations that appear in the Maps module of joule Mobile.
•   Express Design- Enables the import and export of designs and the creation of custom design templates in which users can edit colors and upload interfaces.
•   Conduit- Upgrades to the systems integration tool includes the ability to better export general settings and consolidate course templating .
•   Assessment Module- Update enables the filtering of users based on groups and allows students to see the status of all course assessments.
