The 2011 CTS Cadillac V-Coupe Sports A Ferocious Engine With 556 Of Pure HP

The main difference between the V Coupe and the original CTS is the super powerful engine and increase in horsepower. The engine is a ferocious 6.l Liter V8 LSA engine with 556 HP and is available in both manual and automatic transmissions.  Cadillac has installed powerful Bremo brakes to accompany the new power.  Due to the improved powertrain, this car will be able to be on the same playing field with other high end sports coupes such as the world renowned BMW M3. The CTS V-coupe is truly a high performance car; this car travels from 0-60mph in only 4.2 seconds! This car reaches the quarter mile in only 12.2 seconds.  It does not take much to accelerate in this vehicle.

The exterior of this car is aggressive and eye catching and matches perfectly with its tough roaring engine. The Magnetic Ride suspension helps to adjust shock pressure on the road. There are two modes for the suspension; Sport and Tour.  The Sport mode is more suitable for a sporty drive whereas Tour is ideal for a comfortable and smooth drive.

There are a couple of physical changes for the V coupe; the grille is a bit sharper, the lights are different and there is a bigger hood. The cabin looks exactly the same. Other features to make you as comfortable as possible include a navigation system, a sweet audio system with crystal clear sound quality and Bluetooth compatibility. This is a car that can be suited for every driver; there is a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel and the seats are power adjustable.  Another great feature is the spacious 40 gig hard drive in place, just perfect for storing all of your favorite tunes.

The designers who built this car ensured that it included all of the most advanced safety features such as an air bag system, an On Star Communications System, daytime running lamps, parking assist, remote keyless entry, an anti-theft system, four wheel ABS and four wheel disc brakes. This car is the complete package, it’s sporty and intensely beautiful while packed with a ferociously strong and tough engine.  Cadillac has proven that it can design a beautiful car that can play on the same field as BMW and Mercedes sport coupes.  The only drawback is that it’s a bit of a gas guzzler, it gets around 12 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the freeway but keep in mind that this car was built to perform.  The starting cost of the CTS V-Coupe is approximately $62k, which may be a bit costly but remember that you are getting one of the most powerful sports coupes available on the market.
