Aug. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- The UK's Paul Coghlin has won the international B+W Photography Magazine’s Photographer of the Year 2010 competition and also the Digital Printer of the Year 2010.

Paul named his winning four-photograph B&W series for the Photographer Prize "Behind The Eyes". The intention of the series is to encourage the viewer to consider animal consciousness and what an animal may “think” or feel as it looks right back at the viewer.

The Digital Printer prize was won by a single mesmerising portrait of a lion, also from Paul's Behind The Eyes series, called "Lion's Stare".

All the winners’ work will be exhibited at Hooper’s Gallery in London between 3rd and 9th September, as well as the winners receiving their awards on the launch night on the 2nd. The monthly magazine will publish the winning images in an edition later this this year.
