Staunton Nissan Provides Community with Biometric Fingerprinting Event

Aug. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Staunton Nissan and Subaru is doing its part to keep the community safe by offering parents with a new Biometric Fingerprinting and DNA Identification Kit on Saturday, September 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the dealership, located at 297 Lee Jackson Highway, Staunton, VA 24401.

A child’s safety is a parent’s number one concern, and this event makes it easy to complete the necessary steps to ensure your child’s safety in an emergency.

The DNA LifePrint Child Safety Event, endorsed by America’s trusted name in fighting crime, John Walsh, will give parents in Staunton the materials to increase their changes of quickly finding a child should he become missing.


The free materials provided at the event include:
•   a FBI Certified Biometric 10 Digit Fingerprint Profile
•   a high resolution full color Digital Photograph of your child
•   a Child Safety Journal which will provide law enforcement officials with all the necessary vital information about your child and other important facts they will need immediately after a child is reported missing
•   a Home DNA Identification Kit that is easy to use and lasts through generations
•   John Walsh’s Child Safety Tips

Parents will take all materials home with them and there will be no records of the visit on file or with anyone else.  Parents will also receive John Walsh’s Child Safety Tips.

Biometrics is the newest and most advanced technology used by Federal Agencies, Law
Enforcement and the US Military to obtain fingerprints.  Having a child fingerprinted through this program makes it possible for parents to immediately submit their child’s fingerprint to law enforcement agencies should he become missing.
