3-D Imaging Offers In-Depth Insight into a Patient's Mouth

A 3-D image provides high resolution, volumetric images of critical anatomical areas. It allows the doctor to see the patient’s teeth as well as the supporting root, bone, and nerve structures. It is often faster, easier, and more cost-effective than regular CT scans.

The 3-D image will enable us to determine specifically which root is failing so we can take appropriate action in that area and often times, save the tooth,” he continued.
