Boston, MA, August 2010 – Emerald Group Publishing Inc., a leading international publisher of journals and books, is pleased to announce the appointment of Deanna Wamae as Senior VP of the Americas. Based at the US head office in Boston, MA, Deanna will focus on driving sales growth and usage development across North and South America.

Deanna has considerable industry experience. Her most recent position was Publisher Relations Manager for the Copyright Clearance Centre (CCC). Prior to joining CCC, she worked in sales and journals licensing for Blackwell Publishing supporting growth throughout the Americas, and developing relationships with library consortia. Previously, Deanna was also a Program Director and Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for EF Education, the world’s largest global for-profit intercultural education company.
