PRLog - Aug. 23, 2010 - CNP, the official sports nutrition supplier to the Sky Pro Cycling Team and British Cycling has introduced a buy-one-get-one free offer on its Pro Energy and Pro Energy Max gels. These gels were developed jointly by CNP and Sky Pro Cycling to give the British Team the edge when training and competing.
Both Pro Energy and Pro Energy Max are designed to deliver a sustained energy boost, as opposed to the quick rush that cyclists can experience with some energy products. They are also carefully formulated to be gentle on the digestive system, a property that is especially important in cycling races.
The berry-flavoured Pro Energy gel is caffeine-free so cyclists can take as many portions of the gel as they like during racing or training. It contains maltodextrin for a sustained release of energy, and potassium chloride and magnesium chloride for improved hydration, as well as anti-oxidants.
Pro Energy Max gel has a cola flavour and a targeted combination of caffeine for instant energy, guarana for slow-release energy, carbohydrates to maintain glucose levels, and electrolytes for rehydration. B vitamins are included to allow the body to convert the ingredients more easily, to deliver the energy boost to the athlete.
Pro Energy and Pro Energy Max are packaged in 45g, single-portion, tear-open sachets so they are easy to take whilst on the move. They are available in boxes of 24 sachets or single sachets from independent cycle shops and websites while stocks last.
Pro Energy prices are £24.00 for a box of 24 and £1.00 a single sachet, while Pro Energy Max is £35.76 per box of 24 and £1.49 per single sachet.
