Aug. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Every year hundreds of surfers, windsurfers and divers visit Fuerteventura and during July the island hosts the P.  A peaceful resort, Costa Calenta is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday in the sun!Running through the resort is a long promenade lined with palms and overlooking the beach.  Perfect.  Fuerteventura has approximately 50km of unspoilt beaches, and the coastal breeze makes the waters eminently suited to windsurfing and other watersports. Don't worry too much about fitting in, just enjoy the freedom and experience of being naked in a wonderful environment. Corralejo is on the most northern tip of the island and based around the small, still existing, fishing town, which has been adapted to tend to the tourists needs.  It's a grid, how can you be lost!My last journey of the day, would be back south to my home, not a cheap ride and do not ask for this unless you have loads of ready cash (I don't, but my girlfriend does).  This restaurant is open all week from 1.  It has a picturesque harbour and many excellent restaurants and bars.
The Jandia Nature Reserve is located in the town of Pajara and is a blend of sand dunes and plant life.  There are outstanding diving sites all around the island because of its volcanic origin and in the seas offshore divers can observe impressive underwater rock formations, shipwrecks and reefs as well as a huge assortment of sea life.  Corralejo has a buzzing nightlife with a variety of entertainment to suit most tastes and ages. A great place to stay is the "Suite-Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort," which is a stone's throw from the sea with private beach access.  We would definately recommend this restaurant if you are prepared to go a little off the beaten track! From Playa Blanca is it just after Yaiza and there is a right turn that takes you down to Playa Quemada. On a Friday and a Sunday there is a great market that can be found behind the Water Park with some great bargains to be had as well as some of the more unusual and exotic less seen island purchases.   You may have to walk through a family area, so be discreet by covering up.  The islanders, like most of Spain, observe a Siesta, this means that most cafes and shops are closed for 2 or 3 hours in the middle of the day while the sun is at it's hottest and highest. The main town in Fuerteventura is Puerto del Rosario, which is on the eastern side of the island.  Fuerteventura is ideal for villa rentals in Spain in the winter as the average temperature remains above 20ËsC even during the coldest months.
Amura - Far end of the marina at Puerto Calero - which is a ten minute taxi journey from Puerto del Carmen.  There are 3 restaurants, 2 main bars and a Plaza, which holds the evening entertainment for adults and children alike, plus the resort adds an enjoyable feature aside the entertainment, which can be anything from caricature drawing to island market stalls holders, again this is all done in the Plaza area most evenings.  Every year hundreds of surfers, windsurfers and divers visit Fuerteventura and during July the island hosts the P.  It's a grid, how can you be lost!My last journey of the day, would be back south to my home, not a cheap ride and do not ask for this unless you have loads of ready cash (I don't, but my girlfriend does).  Keep walking until you see the restaurant called Restaurante Terraza Casa Pedro.  This restaurant is normally closed on Thursdays.  Two towns on the island are Corralejo and Caleta de fuste, each offering a different experience.
