Washington D.C. – Hanley Wood Media, publisher of numerous leading construction industry publications, has featured Pure Power Distribution and its Mobile Solar Power Systems in the Summer 2010 issue of Building Products Magazine.
The oversized magazine whose cover features “The 2010 MVP Awards”, highlights Pure Power in an article titled “All Charged Up”. The article mentions smaller portable solar systems along with Pure Power’s commercial-grade equipment.
Pure Power has the largest mobile solar power fleet in the US, led by the most powerful mobile solar system in the world, the S48T, which delivers up to 72kW (600 Amps) of pure solar power to remote construction sites, base camps for feature films and TV productions, military uses, and live events such as music concerts and awards shows.
“All Charged Up” features a photo of a Pure Power S10 Mobile Solar Power System providing solar power at last year’s Habitat for Humanity Earth Day Build-a-Thon. At that event, the Pure Power solar generator provided clean, quiet power in support of the framing of 20 new homes.
Christopher Smith, Pure Power’s VP Marketing & Sales, is quoted twice in the article, stating that the Pure Power solar generators are quiet, produce “… no fumes or smell” and need “no refueling.” Later Smith observed that Pure Power “…systems receive about 60% to 70% of normal solar input [even] in the rain.” Smith’s comments on solar power have been quoted in key publications including the Forbes, LA Times and “Ecorazzi”
This is not the first time Pure Power has been noted by the industry experts. The Discovery Channel (“Planet Green”), Forbes, The Environmental Media Association, Mother Nature Network, Ecorazzi and Green Source Magazine have featured Pure Power’s mobile solar generators on TV, websites, online and in print.
