Toyota of Lewisville’s Railroad Park—A Community Partnership

Aug. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- The City of Lewisville recently completed a 10-year agreement with long-term community contributor Rene’ Isip to rename the recently completed Railroad Park to Toyota of Lewisville’s Railroad park.  Officials expect the new city icon and landmark to attract more than 1 million visitors this year.

“This beautiful, modern facility will be enjoyed by millions of people during the next 10 years, and we are proud to be associated with it,” said Rene’ Isip, Dealer and General Manager of Toyota of Lewisville. “It’s an honor to be included in such an important part of the community.”

The park’s 269 acres provides space for four baseball fields, four football fields and eight soccer fields. In addition, the park’s walking paths and a dog park give people a place where they can enjoy leisure time.  The three man-made lakes in the park control flooding in the area and contribute to the scenic beauty of the park.

The park also includes the second largest skate park in North Texas. Opened in November 2009, the 33,000 square-foot skate park attracts both BMX bikers and skateboarders from all over the Dallas and Ft. Worth area.
