SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah’ achieves number 1 position in the 8:30 p.m. slot

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 20, 2010 - Mumbai : SAB TV’s show ‘Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is the No. 1 show at the 8:30 p.m. time slot recording a TVR of 4.3. This achievement called for a party and hence, the entire cast and crew of Taraak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah along with SAB TV got together to celebrate.

The famous comic duo of Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Dayaben (Disha Vakani) along with their family and friends of Gokuldham Co-op Housing Society were present at Marimba lounge. The grand party saw TMKOC stars in full attendance celebrating the success of their show till wee hours. Disha Vakani(Daya), Dilip Joshi(Jethalal), Shailesh Lodha(Tarak Mehta),Neha Mehta(Anjali Mehta),Amit bhatt(Champaklal), Bhavya Gandhi(Tapu),Mandar(Mr. Bhide)&Sonalika (Mrs. Bhide),Jheel Mehta(Sonu) were all seen enjoying the party.


Gurcharan Singh in his trademark style broke into a bhangra step followed by Samay Shah (Gogi) & Jennifer (Roshan). Dayaben too enjoyed the evening and performed her garba steps on bollywood tracks.Monmoon (Babita) & Ghanshyam Naik(Natu Kaka) along with Nirmal Soni(Dr. Haathi) & Ambika Ranjankar(Mrs. Haathi),Kush Shah(Chiku) &Popatlal were also spotted at the bash.

Also present in the party were Anooj Kapoor, EVP and Business Head, SAB TV & N.P Singh, COO, Multi screen Private Ltd.
