Tebow Tees Head West to Denver

Aug. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- GAINESVILLE, FL, August 16, 2010  The popular I Heart T Bow® line is headed west!  Titletown T's classic Tebow Tees will soon be one of over 5,000 lines shown at the 2010 Denver Merchandise Marts Gift, Home, Jewelry and Resort Show. With the popularity of the newest QB in Denver, the line is sure to make an impression with buyers.  The simple logo I, Heart, T and the shape of a bow in navy and orange, offers ladies a way to show their support with an alternative to the jersey.  Titletown Ts offers the I Heart T Bow® items in shirts, bags, ski caps, scarves, hats, handmade bracelets, and even silicone bands.    
Owner, Lori Evans, is excited about the new direction her business is taking, saying, We've never done anything like this before.  This is our first time exhibiting… anywhere."  Titletown T's has sold to a few local Gainesville shops, but never to a wholesale tradeshow like this. "We expect to have several thousand buyers come through, all representing a single shop or chain of stores. We hope to get our line out there in the Denver and Colorado markets", Evans said.  "Once the semi truck was packed up and pulled away, it became real. I am excited and nervous", she adds.
During August 21-23, thousands of buyers shop for the next best thing for their individual stores.  The show is a major market for the souvenir and resort industry and offers an unsurpassed variety of products, featuring regional product lines not available at other major markets.

It all started with a sign…back in January 2009 at the BCS National Championship in Miami.  "We were lucky enough to have front row seats, behind the Gator bench", said Evans. "I wanted to make a sign so our kids at home would see us on TV.  My husband was embarrassed, but I did it anyway.   I came up with my clever little I Heart T Bow® slogan and it was a big hit!  I had people taking pictures and they even put me on the Jumbo-Tron 3 times!  On our way home the next day, I decided to trademark it and form a small company."  That's when Titletown T's was born.  
Evans, an interior designer who co-owns a home building and design firm with her husband, certainly didn't have any experience in t-shirt design or sales.  She worked over the next 8 months, with the start of the 09 football season as her target deadline.  "It's been fun learning along the way" she says.  Sales actually took her by surprise.  "I put a tiny little ad on Facebook, really just to see how it worked, and I sold out of my entire inventory in 48 hours!  I knew then I was on to something!"
