Her patented process makes it a piece to last a lifetime, yet have the ability to change photos with every growing year. Each piece has a high-quality, heirloom appeal-- something to cherish for a lifetime.

Her charms etched with symbolic images, inscribed with words and phrases, are deeply personal expressions of her life. Much of Michele’s jewelry designs are meant to hold a cherished photo; portraits that reinterpret memory, fleeting images of loved ones, suggestions of family and the passage of generations.

Michele Baratta’s photo jewelry was created somewhat unintentionally. She created her first piece when daughter Lily was born, in 1994 so that she could always have her near her heart. Hence the phrase “hold the ones you love close to your heart”
